My Bio

From Photographer to Designer
I started out as a photographer. I honed my trade in photo studios, camera stores and even for a short time in a processing lab. In the early 1990's I was exposed to desktop publishing which persuaded me to switch from photography to graphic design. Since then I've worked as a graphic designer at a non-profit organization and at a large advertising agency. I was an art director at a small advertising boutique agency and for the last ten years in a corporate marketing department as an art director/photo art director and latter as a print production supervisor.
This experience has afforded me a unique position in the industry. As an accomplished photographer I have given my employers and added asset that most designers can't offer. In addition we are now at the cusp of the mobile device, these devices will change the way we interact with books, magazines, and any else that was once printed on paper.
